Colourblind

Colourblind
In a world coloured grey
There’s a girl in pink

With a heart of gold

And an emerald soul.
With her bright yellow aura

She paints the town red

When the skies turn blue

Till the world turns dead.
Walking among green trees

She swings her brown hair

A shimmer of her lips

And that’s all she cares.
I just sit and watch each colour

Playing it again on rewind

And I just thank god

That I wasn’t born colourblind.
